I am a writer and translator. I have experience working in not-for-profit arts and human rights organizations, and have taught Spanish and English language classes in New York City, South Florida and Paraguay. I translate and write grants applications for projects looking for funding from UN agencies, foundations, and international cooperation organizations. I translate and write budgets, follow-up reports, articles, and media related to gender and development, human rights, and women rights. I have experience in video production and documentary filmmaking and am currently working on a documentary project about women’s situation in Paraguay, with a focus on women’s rights. I have traveled extensively to Paraguay and Latin America over the past 28 years and am currently writing a blog based on my impressions and experiences in Paraguay.
